2021.12.09 02:11 kiwi2479 Is Spotify listening to me?
My Spotify app was closed and I was walking outside passing by a live band. A week later, I got a notification on Spotify asking if I was at a concert with said band a week ago. I switched the rules so there is no voice enabled capabilities on my spotify (and phone altogether) but I am very creeped out.

So I normally set up my Roman legions with 4 heavy spear, 4 heavy sword, 4 cav (2 medium 2 heavy) 4 arrow and 3 ballista. Is that a good set up? It seems to work pretty well for me. What set up do you guys use?

2021.12.09 02:11 HEMIfan17 Why do so many municipalities and HOA ban metal roofs?
I live in Broward County, for context.
If I was to buy a house and money was not a problem, I would have the roof replaced with a metal roof. I don’t care if the current roof is just a few years old… it’s getting replaced with a metal one.
But I noticed something. Most HOAs and even some municipalities ban the installation of metal roofs. Which is why, if I was to win the lottery and money was not an issue I would make sure the home I bought was not in an HOA or a town where city hall is on a power trip.
But why, though? Metals roofs when properly installed *increase* the value of a home, provide much better protection in a hurricane and last longer than most of us humans will be alive.
So I asked around to people online and off and this is what I got:

2021.12.09 02:10 FewDragonfly5262 So I have had a bad semester...
****I only have one week until the semester ends, so there is not much I can do at this point*****
I am an Accounting and Finance major and have currently have completed 87 credits, and on my way to completing 150 credits to be eligible for the CPA. I am a transfer student, so only 27 credits (that I have completed at my new university) count towards my GPA. I have a 3.541 and based on my calculations on how this current semester will end, it will go down to around a 3.1 or 3.2. I took an intro finance course during the spring in which I had gotten a C- and retook it this summer and got a B+. This boosted my GPA from 3.4ish to my current 3.541.
I was initially taking Intermediate I this semester but had to withdraw due to my low grades. Another class I was taking (Investments) was a co-requisite and I had to withdraw from that as well. I currently have a D in Cost Accounting (I have taken my last exam already and that is included), two B-'s (Corporate Finance and Intro to Real Estate), and an A (Intro to Law). My semester GPA most likely will a 2.6, and if I continue to have the same grades in the three other classes after taking my last exams, I will have a 3.25 GPA. I still have three more semesters left, and I have to retake Intermediate I, Investments, and Cost Accounting (Because a D clearly means that I did not understand the material).
I definitely could have done better if only I grasped a better way of studying for accounting courses because the ones I had taken at my community college were far easier than the ones I am taking now. I have already bought a practice book for Intermediate I, and I plan on going over it throughout winter break before the Spring semester begins.
Throughout this semester, I felt uneasy applying for internships because of my low performance and now I am even more stressed. I had gotten messages from recruiters because my 3.541 fit the requirements for their positions, and from what I've seen, most of them require a 3.2-3.3 minimum. I am unsure about the possibility of me getting an internship due to my poor performance this semester, and even more so about a job after college if I do not get any internship experience. I will still be applying for internships everywhere and see what happens. I do not expect to get into a big 4, so anywhere would do because I cannot be picky at this point.
So, what do you guys think?
Am I doomed?
Or is there hope for me if I pick myself back up and do well the rest of the three semesters that I have left?

When I open the app, I get a screen takeover asking for my SSN and I can’t get around it. I’m almost positive I entered my SSN at initial setup so I’m not sure why they want it again.

2021.12.09 02:10 SOSpineapple Women: breast weight questions
Hi! In the last 3 months I quickly gained 25 pounds and pushed myself a few pounds into the “overweight” category for my height. I’ve started getting serious about losing the sudden weight gain and have lost 10 pounds! Yay!
Here’s my problem. I’ve always been a busty girl. At my thinnest I was still a DDD. When I gained this weight, a lot of it went to my breasts. It might sound like a blessing to have bigger boobs, but it’s not. I’m in constant pain, my clothes never look good, & I have new & unsightly stretch marks. Even though I’m 10 pounds down, I can’t get the weight to leave my chest!
I know spot training isn’t a thing & you can’t do targeted weight reduction, but do I have any options? I’m so incredibly uncomfortable all the time (physically and mentally) and would like to fix it.

2021.12.09 02:10 nowhereville543 ENT doctor thinks my hearing loss is caused by a tumor despite always being hard of hearing
I’m still confused about this whole exchange that happened earlier today. Saw a new ENT doctor to get wax out of my ear so I can get a new earmold made.
She barely cleaned anything out but wanted to send the wax in for a culture test since I had been in before with another doctor and he had discovered an infection that is still there. She then says she thinks my bilateral hearing loss might be caused by a tumor and she wanted to do an MRI which I turned down.
I told her bilateral hearing loss is normal but she said that the massive difference wasn’t (Wtf). For context I have severe in my left and moderate in my right. I can barely hear anything in my left without a hearing aid and only really loud noises in my right. I don’t have a recent audiogram around but I wouldn’t be able to read it anyways.
Her insistence of a tumor is weird. I’m not sure if she doesn’t know I have always had hearing loss or disabilities that also cause hearing loss.
Does she want me to have a tumor? I’ve had MRIs before but even if I hadn’t, symptoms would’ve shown years ago. She kept talking over me and interrupting, she was very unprofessional.
I just wanted to share my wtf moment and if anyone had any weird interactions with ENT doctors or audiologists.
